release 1.0

Frank Karlitschek
Hi friends,

ownCloud 1.0 RC1 is now out since LinuxTag.

Do we have any big show stoppers before releasing 1.0 final?

Cheers
Frank

As far as I know there aren't any show stoppers for a 1.0, the only bug that
I'm aware of is uploading files with webdav doesn't work with dolphin but that
seems to be an error or kio_webdav (see:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=241360)

I have a workaround for this that seems to work, but it also gives you an
"overwrite file dialog" when you aren't overwriting a file, so I'm not sure if I
should put the workaround in ownCloud.

other than that, as far as I'm aware of, we're good for 1.0

This probably is in Konqueror, not OwnCloud, but you don't seem to be
able to actually select any item (for download / delete) in OwnCloud
when using Konqueror. The checkboxes to the left of the uploaded files
just don't "check" (ie you can't put a tick in them).

I tried with:
Konqueror 4.4.4 with QT 4.6.3 on Archlinux
Konqueror 4.4.85 with QT 4.7.0 beta 1 on Kubuntu Lucid

FF (Linux and Win Vista) and Rekonq seem to work fine.

I just made a fix which should fix this issue, could you test it again with with
the latest version from git.

Thanks Robin

That seems to have done the trick (Konq 4.4.4). Nice to have OwnCloud
working with KDE's browser again. :)
